Theological Formation for the Apprentice

_MG_3799.JPG

Apprentices receive theological training contextualized for the university campus. Academic assignments offered through the CMA in the first year are specifically designed to introduce the apprentice to the study of exegesis & hermeneutics, systematic and pastoral theology, preaching, and other academic disciplines that are significant for ministry. The theological training of the apprenticeship would also satisfy those simply wishing for a gap year of equipping for the Christian life.

Up to ten hours of each apprentice’s week is devoted to theological training. Apprentices complete assignments and meet weekly to discuss or present their work in an online cohort of other apprentices, led by an experienced campus pastor.
