Emerge Retreat: Week of Prayer

Could I ask you to join us in a Week of Prayer for our UCM EMERGE Retreat happening this weekend (January 16-18, 2026)?

Christian retreats are a spiritual discipline—an intentional setting apart of time to seek God, listen, and be renewed. This year, we are expecting over 250 students, campus workers, and guests from our seven campus ministries across B.C., all gathering at Stillwood Camp in Lindell Beach (near Chilliwack).

Our theme this year is "Realigning with God's Heart in a Time of Drift". We are thrilled to host Rev. Kaarina Hsieh as our guest speaker. Kaarina is the Lead Pastor of Parkway Forest Community Church in North York, Toronto, and brings over 30 years of pastoral and seminary leadership experience, including serving as former Dean of Students at Tyndale Seminary. She is passionate about spiritual formation, cultural engagement, and seeing people aligned with God’s heart.

Our hope is that students will EMERGE refreshed and empowered by the Spirit for campus life!

Would you commit to pray every day leading up to the retreat for the specific needs below?
